Information Collection and Use

This Privacy Policy is effective as of and was last updated on March 3, 2008. Changes to this Privacy Policy are discussed at the end of this document. Each time you use www.airbedandbreakfast.com (hereafter “Site”), however, the current version of the Privacy Policy will apply. Accordingly, each time you use the Site you should check this Privacy Policy. Juice Studios, LLC, a California limited liability company ( “AB&B,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is the sole owner of the information collected on this Site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. AB&B collects information from our users at several different points on our Site.

Information Given Upon Registration

In order to register as a potential host or guest on this Site, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give their first and last name, sex, ZIP code, country, and e-mail address to AB&B. BY YOUR REGISTRATION WITH AB&B, YOU CONSENT TO AB&B’S USE OF YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME, SEX, ZIP CODE, COUNTRY, AND E-MAIL ADDRESS.

Information Given By Hosts and Guests

If a user would like to act as a host, they must provide their personal address to AB&B. YOUR PROVISION OF YOUR PERSONAL ADDRESS CONSTITUTES CONSENT TO AB&B’S USE OF YOUR PERSONAL ADDRESS. Offering to host allows other users to access the possible host’s first name and last initial. In addition, any profile completed by the possible host will be accessible by other users. When a user is seeking to be a guest, the user’s first and last name and e-mail address must be provided to a possible host when the user sends a request to the possible host. A user who agrees to host a guest will by that acceptance provide the guest with the host user’s home address and e-mail. USERS ARE URGED TO EXERCISE CAUTION IN THE PROVISION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO OTHER USERS. USERS CONSENT TO THE PROVISION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION AS WILL BE PROVIDED TO OTHER USERS AS SET FORTH HEREIN.

Profile Information

The user may also provide information for a personal profile. Users are not required to provide any personal information for their profile. However, information provided in the profile will be accessible by other users. If users complete a profile, they are urged to exercise caution and avoid providing information about personal or business addresses, personal or business e-mail addresses, telephone numbers or other information a user may deem sensitive in his or her profile. USERS ARE URGED TO EXERCISE CAUTION IN THE PROVISION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO OTHER USERS. USERS CONSENT TO THE PROVISION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION AS WILL BE PROVIDED TO OTHER USERS AS SET FORTH HEREIN.

Changes to Personal Information

A user may change their personal address, e-mail, or name by accessing the “edit profile” section of the site. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES IN LIMITED INSTANCES AB&B reserves the right to disclose any and all information provided by or about a user when required to do so by law, or in response to a subpoena or court order, or when AB&B believes in its sole discretion that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of AB&B, third parties, Site users, Site guests, or the public at large.

Referral Feature

Site offers users the ability to send friends emails about the Site. If users choose to use this feature, be assured that AB&B only uses friend’s e-mail addresses on a one time basis to send the requested email.

Cookies

A “cookie” is a string of information that a website stores on a user’s computer and that the user’s browser provides to the website each time the user submits a query to the website. AB&B uses cookies to track the pages that users visit during each Website session both to help AB&B improve users’ experiences and to help Company understand how the website is being used. As with other non-personally-identifying information gathered from users of the Site, AB&B analyzes and discloses in aggregated form information gathered using cookies so as to help AB&B and those persons or entities with whom it associates understand how the Site is being used. AB&B does not attempt to link information gathered using cookies to user’s personal information. USERS WHO DO NOT WISH TO HAVE COOKIES PLACED ON THEIR COMPUTERS SHOULD SET THEIR BROWSERS TO REFUSE COOKIES BEFORE ACCESSING THE SITE, WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT CERTAIN FEATURES OF THE SITE MAY NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY WITHOUT THE AID OF COOKIES. WEBSITE USERS WHO REFUSE COOKIES ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RESULTING LOSS OF FUNCTIONALITY.

Web Beacons

A “web beacon” is an object that is embedded in a web page that is usually invisible to the user and allows website operators to check whether a user has viewed a particular web page. AB&B may use web beacons on the Site to count users who have visited particular pages and to deliver co-branded messages. Web beacons are not used to access user’s personal information; they are a technique AB&B may use to compile aggregated statistics about Site usage. Web beacons only collect a limited set of information using a cookie number, time and date of a page view and a description of the page on which the web beacon resides. You may not decline web beacons, however they can be rendered ineffective by declining all cookies or modifying your browser setting to notify you each time a cookie is tendered and permit you to accept or decline cookies on an individual basis. Third parties are not permitted to use web beacons on the Site.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

Sale of Demographic Information

AB&B reserves the right to sell or otherwise transfer aggregate demographic information about its users to third parties. The names of users, their individual personal addresses, and their individual e-mail addresses will not be provided to any third party.

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web site. Third parties are under no obligation to comply with this Privacy Policy with respect to information that users provide directly to those third parties or those that third parties collect for themselves. AB&B neither owns nor controls the third party websites accessible through Site. Thus this Privacy Policy does not apply to information provided to or gathered by the third parties that operate them. Before visiting a third party, whether by means of a link on the Site or otherwise, and before providing any personal information to any third party, users should inform themselves of the privacy practices (if any) of the third party responsible for that website, and should take those steps necessary to, on those users discretion, protect their privacy.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will email a link to this page to our users so that they are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
